Who remembers our sweet girl, Sugar? When Sugar came to us she was suffering from eosinophilic granulomas. She had ulcers on her lips, the roof of her mouth, and her tongue. She also had a broken tooth, as well as a heart murmur, and was FIV positive.
With the generous donations of our supporters, we were able to get her the care she so desperately needed. She required surgery to remove her tooth, biopsies to identify her condition, boarding with our veterinary partner for a period of time, a speciality diet, antibiotics, steroids, and lots of follow-up exams. Her care totaled between $1500 and $2000. The amazing part is not only did your donations help her skin conditions, her heart murmur cleared up once her little body was no longer having to fight so hard.
