Spay RVA
Spaying and neutering your pet is one of the most important things a pet owner can do to help keep their four-legged family member happy and healthy.
Spay RVA is Henrico Humane Society's spay/neuter program created for pet owners who may not be able to afford the cost of surgery. The program allows pet owners to have their pet spayed or neutered at participating clinics and the fund covers part, or all, of the cost. Spay RVA helps owners who might otherwise re-home their pet, or have unplanned litters of kittens or puppies.
Spay RVA is made possible by a generous grant from The William A. Harrison Jr. Foundation. The program relies on donations like these to continue offering services to pet owners in need.
We are currently working through the applications we’ve received and are not able to take new applications at this time. See below for low-cost spay/neuter options.
