We host an adoption stand from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturdays at the Petco in Short Pump (11331 W Broad St in Glen Allen). Since we don’t have a shelter and our animals live in foster homes, this is the best way to meet the amazing dogs and cats we have available for adoption.

On Saturday, January 25 we will also have an adoption stand at the Petco located at 9051 Staples Mill Road in Glen Allen from 11 am - 2 pm.

If there's a specific animal you're interested in meeting, please contact us ahead of time to ensure they're scheduled to come to stand:

• Email dogs@henricohumane.org if you're interested in meeting a specific dog.

• Email cats@henricohumane.org if you're interested in meeting a specific cat.

• If you’re interested in a specific animal, we recommend you consider applying to adopt ahead of time.

We do not hold adoption stand on the following holiday weekends:

• Easter

• Memorial Day

• Independence Day

• Labor Day

• Thanksgiving

• Christmas & New Year’s
