Meet Weebles, one of the many cats we’ve been able to help thanks to our generous supporters. He was rescued from a shelter back in 2021 at just 5 weeks old. Weebles had numerous health problems including blindness due to a congenital eye disorder, an abnormal digestive tract and a mild heart condition. He got his name after being diagnosed with a neurological disorder known as cerebellar hypoplasia, or “wobbly cat syndrome”. We knew Weebles would require medical care throughout his life which would make him harder to adopt.
The great news is that Weebles found the PURRFECT, loving home where he is thriving! To help offset some of the cost of his care, he became a “sponsorship” cat which means HHS will help pay his medical expenses for the rest of his life.
HHS supports several cats like Weebles through our sponsorship program. These cats are often overlooked in shelters, but we’ve been able to give them the opportunity to live the happy life they deserve. Please consider donating to our Cash for Cats campaign for the sake of special cats like Weebles. Thank you for your support!
