When Buddy was just under a year old, Henrico Humane Society rescued him from a rural shelter. He was fortunate to be placed in an experienced and structured foster environment.
As we got to know him better, we discovered that Buddy was hearing impaired. As he settled into his foster home, he also showed high reactivity to other dogs and humans when he had a toy, treat, or food.
To ensure Buddy would be able to live his best life and adapt well his surroundings, it was determined that he required formal training before he was ready for adoption. Donations like yours help to offset the training cost of $875.
Buddy continues to work very diligently with his trainer and is an intelligent pup! He is making significant progress and will soon be a wonderful fit for a lucky family.
