As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to express our GRATITUDE to those who open their homes to our furry friends. Fostering truly saves lives as we help to find forever homes for these deserving animals. We are always in need of more fosters to make sure Henrico Humane can ensure lots of Happy Tails! All pet supplies (crate, bed, food, and toys) are provided along with necessary vet care. All you need to provide is LOVE.

Meet Rebecca and Michael - a pair of dedicated dog fosters!

“We initially started fostering because we wanted to get a sense of how a dog would fit into our lives and our family. We kept fostering because we liked being able to have an impact on multiple dogs’ lives - not just the one we adopted. It has been very rewarding to see our foster dogs change and grow even over the course of a month.”
