Georgia

Hello, everybody.  My name is Georgia.  My brother, sister, and I had a bit of a rough start to life, but we’re strong little kittens and fought right on through.
When we were only 2 days old, our momma was killed by a dog.  We were orphans in a big, scary world.  Can you even imagine?  Lucky for us we only had to stay that cold cage at the pound for a few hours before a Henrico Humane Society volunteer came to pick us up.  We met the lady we now call momma just a little while later.  You might know her better as Miss Kitty.  She had recently had some babies of her own, but they didn’t survive, so she stepped in to help us.  Boy, were we lucky kittens.
Our momma has been telling us stories of these exciting places called forever homes, and we just can’t wait to find one!  I’m the little sister of the family.  I let my brother and my sister do all of the exploring first.  But once I know it’s safe, I go check it out for myself.  I love playing with toys, but my favorite thing to do is to climb all the way to the top of my cat tree, hang over the edge, and watch what everyone else is doing.
I’m a very laid back gal.  I’m looking for a forever home with big windows for me to nap in, cat trees for me to climb, and people who will give me lots of love and attention.  If you’re looking for a beautiful girl like me to join your family, fill out an application today!

Applications are reviewed on a first come first served basis, so we encourage you to  complete an application at www.henricohumane.org/adopt/application-for-cats/ before coming to our next adoption event.

Our adoption events are every Saturday, excluding holidays, at the Petco next to Trader Joe’s in Short Pump from 11:00 to 2:00 (11331 West Broad Street, Glen Allen, VA). To find out if I will be attending this week’s adoption event, please email cats@henricohumane.org.
