Cocoa

Cocoa

Hi, my name is Cocoa.   I was in a wonderful home enjoying all the benefits that come with being an indoor kitty, but I had no idea of the things to come. One day I found out that my family was moving out of the country and would not be able to take me with them. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I was diagnosed with diabetes.  My family could not find anyone that was willing to take me because of my diagnosis.  Luckily, my vet agreed to let me stay at the hospital until I found a new home, so they could monitor my condition and give me the proper medications.  Now, everyone there is so nice, and they give me as much attention as they can, but it has been a big adjustment going from having lots of room to roam and play to living every day in a cage.  The wonderful volunteers at Henrico Humane are helping to find me another forever home, and they assure me that there are people out there who will love a special needs kitty like me.  The even better news is that my doctor thinks that, with the proper nutritional diet, I could go into remission.

I am super sweet and have never met a stranger.  I will shower you with all the love and affection I have to give.  I just want to find someone who will do the same for me.  Please ask to meet me.  I know you will fall in love with me. I am simply irresistible.
