How old must I be to adopt?

• Adopters must be at least 21 years old.

Do I need to live in Henrico County to adopt?

• You do not need to live in Henrico County - we adopt to approved applicants who live within the Central Virginia area.

Do you have a facility?

• No. We are a foster-based organization.

If I already have animals in the home, what are the requirements for me to adopt?

• All animals in the home must be spayed/neutered and up to date with all vet records.

Do I need to know which animal I want to adopt before submitting an application?

• You do not have to have a specific animal in mind in order to submit an application.

How can I meet an animal I'm interested in adopting?

• You can come to an adoption event to meet a dog or cat you're interested in adopting, or we can schedule a Meet-and-Greet after an application has been approved.

What are the fees for adopting a dog or cat?

• Kittens - $125 (6 months and younger)

• Two Kittens - $175 

• Adult Cats - $100

• Senior Cats - $50 (10yrs +)

• Puppies - $250 (12 months and younger)

• Adult Dogs - $175

• Senior Dogs - $100 (8yrs +)

The adoption fee covers the cost of shots, spay/neuter, microchipping and worm/flea treatments.
