LOST - Basi Lost 11/16/06
"Basi"-4 year old black Lab, neutered male, large-80+ lbs., both front heels are white (not noticeable unless you're looking closely!). No tattoos or collar. Lost on 11/16/06 in Charles City County near the intersection of Rt. 106/Old Union Road. Very friendly, sweet dog. Obedience trained. Basi (along with his brother) ran off of our farm property after a deer. His brother returned within a few hours, Basi has not been seen since. Lots of hunters in the area-we wonder if someone may have picked him up, thinking he was a stray. Any information would be appreciated and we are offering a reward. **Updated info** We are still hoping to find our black Labrador Retriever "Basi", missing since 11/16/06. Basi is 4 years old, tall and leaner than the average Lab, 90+ lbs. The only white on him is a spot on the back of each front foot in his heel area-not very obvious if you aren't looking for them. Basi is neutered. He was not wearing a collar when he was lost nor is he tattooed or microchipped. He is very sweet, obedience trained, and friendly with people and other dogs. There were a lot of hunters in the Charles City County area where Basi went missing and we wonder if he may have been picked up by one. Any information that might lead us back to Basi would be greatly appreciated! We also have Basi's littermate who misses him greatly, along with his human family. LOST - Pete - Lost 7/4/06 Please see the FLYER We lost our dog Pete, July 4th at Yowell Meadow Park in Culpeper. He is a Collie – Sheltie mix. Neutered male. No collar. Brown, white with some black. Very friendly and a good dog. Frightened of thunderstorms, fireworks, etc. We live in Maryland and my daughter was visiting her father for the 4th of July and she took Pete with her. We love him very much and are worried sick about him Someone saw him get hit by a car, but he got back up and continued to run. He may be injured or have difficulty walking.

LOST - Norm - Beagle Lost 7/11/06
Last night 7/11 I was traveling southbound on I-81. I had my beagle in the back of my truck in a pet carrier. I got gas at the Flying J in Winchester and he was in the carrier. I stopped for dinner in Lexington and the door had fallen off, and he was gone. He went missing somewhere on I-81 south between 5-9pm. He is a male, smaller beagle about 10 lbs, he is approx. 3 years old. He has an appaloosa colored ear, a black/purple/ multi colored collar and a NY State Rabies tag. He answers to the name of Norm. LOST - Annie - Annie is an 8yr old Australian Shepherd, Black, brown & white who jumped through the window of her owner's car when it was involved in an automobile accident in Palmyra, VA. Annie and her owner live in Williamsburg, VA and it could be that Annie is trying to find her way back home. This happened a couple of weeks ago and her owner is still desperately looking for her. LOST - Rikki Here are 2 pictures as people have told me they have a hard time judging his size. The first one one the steps is about 3 years old but the one in the dog bed was taken in March of this year. He's 14 years old; a miniature wirehaired dachshund. His name is Rikki. Officially his color is "brindle" but brown or faded brown is probably close enough. He left us on 5/21 - we left the side gate to the yard open by mistake. He has NEVER run off before and usually all you have to do to find him is to look at my feet. He weighs 10 pounds. We live in Sandston on N. Confederate ave. but he could be anywhere by now. We've been to the Henrico pound so much they know my husband by sight. The picture of him in the dog bed is at the pound and I'd posted pictures all over Sandston - a lot have been taken down by now (yard sale people).
I really do appreciate your time and effort - if you need to know anything else, please let me know. He was a house dog primarily and even people that saw him in real life didn't know what he was ("he's a hot dog?") He loved to play ball and could fetch better than a labrador retriever. He does have a license but I have it here in a drawer - he does not have on a collar.

LOST -12/10/04- Hi, I was told to check with all animal societies. My dog Rocky has been missing since early Friday morning (12/10), we have put up signs and also walked the neighborhood and called several area vets. We live in Mechanicsville. I have attached a picture. I was told that someone may turn him in to a place like yours. If you have seen him or if you do see him please call me at 399-3669. He is a yellow/goldish, male, Chihuahua miniature dachshund mix, his name is Rocky. He has ears of a Chihuahua but a longer body and nose of a dachshund. He is probably between 10-15 pounds. LOST -- Shatzi - Red Doberman I lost my dog on Friday in the west end area Springfield and Nuckols. She is a red doberman and she is just a puppy even though she weighs over 50 lbs. We moved here just a couple months ago and she doesn't know the area. Some one came and opened our privacy fence. Our black lab was still in our front yard but my puppy is gone. LOST: September 6,
2003 near Riverside Dr and Semmes Avenue. Female Bulldog Mix, 65 lbs., white/tan,
with collar and tags. Ellie has short hair and sturdy build; has a microchip; and
was wearing a collar with tags. She has a big brown spot by her tail and one on her right
side. She is friendly, but may be shy or frightened being on her own. Call 233-0135 or

| Lost Dog: Disappeared August 16th from Eastern Henrico (Bradley Acres). Name: Marley; Coat: Black & brown like a German Shepherd with a curly tail like a chow and a black spot on his tongue, about 50 lbs. He probably does not have a collar on--we can't keep one on him (he is a HUGE escape artist). She is taken care of very well and she usually does not go far from the house or stay out long at all. She is a Red bone Hound dog but she is NOT a hunting dog. LOST: Jersey, an 18 mo.-old neutered male black
lab/rottie mix. He has slight red coloring, long tail. He pulled out of his
collar and escaped so he has no collar or tags. He is a sweet, good-natured dog.

LOST: Bam Bam (Jack Russell Terrier) 18 mo., neutered male, front left
paw has one broken nail. He is not wearing a collar and was last seen at 10:30 p.m. Monday
night, July 28, 2003. He escaped our home before he could be leashed. He is very friendly
and energetic; however he is aggressive toward other animals. We are listed care givers

a black/tan/white female Shepherd mix (spayed) that is 38 lb., 14 years old (with graying
muzzle), has been missing from the Derbyshire/Gaskins area. She is very sweet

| LOST June 13, 2003: Two older female Labs: one chocolate and one black. Lost in the Glenside area at about 5 p.m. Blk lab is "Ruby has some growths around her right eye and has seizures and needs medication (10 yrs old, 80 lb). Cho Lab: "Brandy" has some skin problems and you can see it - looks on the thin side; 8 yr old, and takes medication for skin (also noticeable on paws). a 20-month old neutered male Shiloh Shepherd weighing 125 lbs., last seen on 3901 Paces
Ferry Road in Woodlake area of Midlothian (Chesterfield County), Virginia
near Woolridge Elementary School. Looks like a giant, long-haired German
Shepherd. Very large, predominantly black with cream markings. Brown eyes. Very shy. He is
wearing a black nylon breakaway collar. No tags on collar. 30 inches high to shoulder.
